Our Seaway7 Graduate Programme offers a fantastic opportunity to launch a rewarding career in renewable energy, addressing some of the world’s largest offshore fixed wind projects. The Graduate Development Programme

The programme typically lasts two years and provides broad exposure across engineering and project execution. You will benefit from mentorship, diverse teamwork and hands-on experience ranging from detailed design engineering to offshore work.

What you will be doing:
  • Participate in on- and off-the-job development with exposure to various engineering tasks
  • Assist with design calculations, reports, specifications and procedures
  • Develop knowledge of design codes, standards and safety practices
  • Gain technical and non-technical skills through courses, site visits and daily work

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Marine/Naval, Subsea, or similar)

Graduate Programme

As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will join our Engineering Team in Aberdeen and contribute to subsea construction and installation projects. You will gain valuable experience both in the office and offshore, and play an active role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality engineering solutions.

Your role:
  • Work on project tasks under the supervision of Lead and Discipline Engineers
  • Deliver engineering and design documentation for subsea operations
  • Support structural design, installation analysis and drafting
  • Present solutions at design reviews and risk assessments
  • Follow up subcontractors and specify procurement items
  • Gain offshore experience onboard construction vessels
  • Attend fabrication sites and witness factory acceptance tests
What we are looking for:
  • High commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Organised, with strong time management skills
  • Degree in business/legal or engineering-related fields
  • Open to graduates with varied levels of experience
